The West 1077 Guest Ranch is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country only 10 miles from Bandera, the “Cowboy Capital of the World” and a quick hour from San Antonio International Airport.
West 1077 was established on an old cattle ranch and retains the charm and simple way of life of the Old West. However, with all the comfort and amenities it offers this is now THE place where the old west meets today’s modern outdoor adventurer.

Our ranch spans over 230 acres of unspoiled Texas Hill Country terrain and our sole focus is on providing you with the chance to get out into nature and soak up some unbeatable experiences. No noisy crowds - just quiet and peaceful surroundings.
Our unique facility offers some of the most beautiful, challenging and varied trails in Texas. West 1077 has direct, private access to the 5,400 acre "Hill Country State Natural Area", a hiker’s, biker’s and trail runner's delight, with its rugged array of rocky hills and vast and breathtaking views. Explore more than 40 miles of well marked trails, enjoy all day fishing and swimming in its secluded creek pools and you’ll be sure to leave here serene.

We have the best trails in the Texas Hill Country! The West 1077 property with its own 230 acres has direct access to the
"Hill Country State Natural Area", a state park with over 5,400 acres of breathtaking scenery and a trail system with almost 50 miles to explore.
Whether you are a competitive trail runner, a hard core mountain biker, or just want to go for an exciting horseback ride or a peaceful walk, you will not find a better place to base yourself for an energizing and exciting vacation amongst elemental nature.You want to explore the area cowboy-style? No problem. We experienced that our guests appreciate the fact, that horseback rides are not automatically included, but can be scheduled flexible according to any vacation plan, weather situation or personal preferences. Juniper Hill Stables is located conveniently on our property and offers personalized rides at an hourly rate - no "nose-to-tails"-riding in huge groups! The private rides on horses suitable for your capabilities allow for a very personal level of attention and make sure all care will be taken to cater the trip for your individual experience.
Our combined properties are ideally suited for every skill level from casual hiking for pleasure and fitness to serious training for extreme running or biking. Can't bring your own bicycle? No problem - take one of our mountain bikes and you're ready to go!

Make lasting memories and good friends at our old-world-style, cowboy lodge, which is always open for your use and where breakfast is served. Gather round, enjoy the open fireplace, watch TV, play games or simply sit on a rocking chair on the porch. Sunrise and sunset are unmissable at West 1077, as are the night skies with minimal light pollution and maximum pleasure.
The Cabins
You will not be disappointed with our sleeping accommodations. We keep things comfortable and authentic at the West 1077 Guest Ranch, but the cabins’ simple exteriors belie the clean comfort you will find inside!
All of our 14 cabins are newly renovated and feature local, handcrafted cedar furniture and beds and all of them are lovingly decorated. Most cabins easily sleep four people, our bunkhouse accommodates six and each cabin has its own porch
for you to sit outside and enjoy the stunning Texas sunsets.
