Award Winning Colorado Artist, Tom Lockhart, is well known for his ability to paint in Oils, Watercolors, & Pastels
as well as Acrylics.
TOM has won numerous Awards in each Medium, and in National as well as Regional Art Shows and Competitions. Tom is also a PLEIN-AIR ARTIST, winning BEST OF SHOW in the 2011 Alla Prima Plein-Air Festival, the Victor Celebrates the ARTS 2011, and South Park Plein-Air Festival also in 2011.
Other PLEIN-AIR Events including the Telluride Plein-Air Festival 2005-2008 and the Sedona Plein-Air Festival. 2004,2007,2010. Various Museum Exhibits include the Historical Society in Helena, Montana, The Brinton Museum in Sheridan, WY The Holter Museum in Helena, MT The Old West Museum in Cheyenne, WY The Governor's Art Show at the Loveland Museum, Loveland, CO the Jackson Hole Lodge and the Wildlife Museum in Jackson Hole, WY
He is also a well-respected Workshop Instructor both, in the Studio as well as an Outdoor Painter (EN-PLEIN-AIR). He has taught at the Fechin Institute in San Cristobal, NM, The Barn site Studio in Kewaunee, WI The Farmington Art Association Farmington, NM and The Fernandina Beach Island Art Association in Fernandina Beach, FL.
He also Judged the 50th Annual Shrimp Festival Art Show that year and Numerous other Regional Exhibits in Colorado and in TX As a native Coloradan, Tom enjoys traveling around the country looking for Images of Inspiration, for his next series of Paintings.
