Rooms

McCaskey Room

Picture
This lovely, elegantly furnished room, takes its name from the original owners of the orchard mansion.

The room has an antique burl and hand-tooled King bed. The bedroom, and the private bathroom, offer breathtaking and commanding views of the front pasture and the entire Rogue Valley, with the peaks of Mt. McLaughlin and Roxy Ann in the distance.

The masculine décor of the room makes it elegantly fit for any turn-of-the century land baron.  The Jacuzzi tub in this room is currently functioning solely as a tub/shower, not a jetted unit

Marigold Room

Picture
Pine antique furnishings and a large oriental carpet grace this elegant suite.

The Room takes its name from Mary McCaskey, who lived as mistress of the estate for 32 years, and from
the gold color palette in the original fireplace tiles in the room.

The sumptuous Queen four-poster bed, charming bathroom, and period antique furnishings make this room a guest favorite. Views from The Marigold offer glimpses of the formal flower, herb, fruit, and vegetable gardens, the pool area and the hills beyond

Bora da

Picture
Bora da was once a loving name used by the McCaskey family for this (once 1000 acre) historic estate, loosely translated it is a Welch saying that means “beautiful dawn.” In this suite, two large windows overlook the great pond and the majestic ancient willows surrounding it.

The view, combined with the toile décor in this room, offers plenty of ambience. The black and white theme of the suite is carried throughout in dark black cherry furnishings, oriental carpet and twin upholstered chairs at the foot of the luxurious King four-poster bed.

The bathroom in the Bora da Suite is the largest in the mansion, offering both an individual shower and a rare antique brass and enamel pedestal tub, perfect for that relaxing bath after a day of cycling, hiking or touring the Rogue Valley

Maggie’s Attic

Picture

Formerly two rooms. Maggie’s Attic was named for one of the house maids who lived on the third floor in the early 1900’s.

This lovely room has a private bath with European faucets and a beautiful Queen four-poster bed.
The views to the East are of the valley from a cozy window seat, and the Table Rocks to the North.

The Butler’s Retreat

Picture

Once upon a time this large room was intended to be the butler’s room in the mansion.

It is now a grand hideaway retreat for special guests at The Willows. The room offers higher views of the front pasture, the entire Rogue Valley and the Table Rocks, from both the West and the North. The room features a beautiful queen sleigh bed, a large private bath, a cozy window seat, and a spacious seating area with a full sofa bed (for a third party). This is a special place for older kids and adults alike to escape.

The theme in this room is the great outdoors.
