Just 70km from Melbourne city and 40km from Tullamarine Airport, Lancefield Guesthouse is conveniently close to Hanging Rock, Mt Macedon, wineries, local farmers markets, and is only a one-minute walk from the township.

The 16 rooms cater to all types of guests, including individuals, couples, families and conferences.

Owners Kate and Peter Chiller draw from over 40 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industries, and share a simple philosophy towards your stay, “It’s always been our dream to run a place like this and we want to provide every guest with a highly
enjoyable and memorable experience, at an affordable price.”

With many years of cooking experience, it’s easy to see why Kate’s homemade meals receive superb feedback from guests. When making a booking, you can request to have a food package, which includes continental breakfast, Kate’s morning and afternoon teas, plus a three-course dinner.
Why not pair the locally sourced produce with a wine from one of Lancefield’s surrounding vineyards? Pete’s impressively stocked wine cellar features only local wines, so you can wine and dine with the best of the Macedon Ranges.

If  you’d prefer to explore the local area, Lancefield town is a convenient one minute
walk away and the local pub is just 100m from the guesthouse.

Lancefield Guesthouse’s unique and newly built conference facility
​can host up to 40 delegates, with 16 rooms available to accommodate guests.

With excellent natural light, heating and cooling, the Conference Centre provides a comfortable and relaxing environment to talk business. There is also all necessary electrical equipment available, including Wi-Fi, data protector, flipchart, whiteboard and lots of power points.

There are adjoining male and female bathrooms, as well as a conservatory area connected to the conference room, where you can enjoy morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch. There’s also ample parking available at all times

Make your way up to the Macedon Ranges to sit back relax and
enjoy the countryside.

Enjoy a regional wine tasting in our newly discovered cellar followed by a light dinner. The following day we will head off in the morning to explore our cool climate wine region specialising in Sparkling wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs. You will enjoy lunch in one of our leading wineries overlooking the rolling vines. Return to our Guesthouse to indulge in a magnificent 3 course dinner.

On your last day sleep in, enjoy a late breakfast and we will take you an award winning winery in Lancefield,where you will then have time to explore the local shops and cafes only minutes from the Guesthouse.
