“The Carriage House” has two lovely bedrooms with queen size beds, a beautifully appointed bath, and fully equipped kitchen. A spacious living area includes a cozy fireplace and French doors that open to a deck with sweeping views of the Connecticut River. The Carriage House can accommodate up to six guests with the addition of a comfortable full size sofa bed.
Located on five park-like acres in the historic section of Haddam, the Carriage House is spacious with almost 1,000 sq. ft. of living space! Newly constructed in 2015, the Carriage House has a fully equipped kitchen, a Great Room with cathedral ceiling, two beautifully furnished bedrooms each with queen size beds, a large "Jack and Jill" tiled bathroom with gorgeous marble accented tub/shower combination, and a large deck for al fresco dining and taking in the breathtaking views.
Climb the stairs to the spacious deck and you are up high overlooking Haddam State Park and the Connecticut River (three season river view). French doors open into the spacious Great Room that contains the fully equipped kitchen, an expandable dining table that seats up to eight, two sofas/seating areas for lounging or watching TV (one is a full size sofa bed for additional guests!), and lots of windows to take in the views.
The Carriage House has central air/heat, WIFI, HD cable TV with DVD player, bedroom ceiling fans, a gas fireplace (seasonal), barbecue grill, and plenty of parking.
Shop nearby for groceries at several stores or walk to a seasonal farmers' market. Enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner out on the deck surrounded by natural beauty. Or dine out at one of the many excellent restaurants in the area. So much to do and see here in the Lower Connecticut River Valley called "One of the Last Great Places" by the Nature Conservancy.
