Hi! My name is DC Morale and I am an artist who loves to paint and draw. DC is my nickname - my first and second name.
I started out doing portraits as a kid because I was so interested in people and used to fill sketchpads with people who would let me draw them. Later in my life I have started to do minimal still life as I decided to keep things simple in my life, it made sense to keep it simple in my paintings as well and I thought people would enjoy these as much as I do painting them!
Someone once told me happiness is like ice cream, you eat it then its done and you have to appreciate the happy moments in life because things are ever changing. It's great to have simple moments via a painting thats permanent.
What I have always loved about paintings is it freeze frames those memories and moments of enjoyment and you can always reflect on them via a portrait of someone or just something you enjoy.
