Art for home and office
It had been exciting to finally get back to my love of art after 40 years in the real estate, property management, and furnished rental business. My first painting after a long hiatus was a large impressionistic oil of my orange cat, Matt, that perfectly captured his personality. This led to well over 400 paintings in watercolors, acrylics and oils that are now on display in various local galleries and shows. Now, I’m painting everything I always wanted to try including landscapes, boats, portraits, children, abstracts, birds, pets, and ocean scenes. My art training includes majoring in art education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Greensboro, art studies at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina, and workshops with Charleston area artists. I am currently an exhibiting member of the Charleston Artist Guild, Everything Home Charleston, and an upcoming one-artist abstract show in Summerville, South Carolina.
