Authentic and elegant boutique accommodation in Picton, New Zealand.

​Half an acre of formal gardens surrounding the house and five acres of hillside which is covered in natural bush.

In March 2006 the house, grounds and native bush were covenanted under the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust to further protect this important natural habitat together with the significant historic and architectural merit of the property.  

A number of trees, planted when the property was built, such as the oak trees in the paddock and the camellia tree to
the rear of the property are also protected under this scheme.

Sennen House has been sympathetically restored in keeping
with its gracious style and era to offer three individually designed accommodation options.

Please Note: We are unable to accept children under the age of 13

Breakfast

Our breakfast enables guests to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, al fresco on one of the balconies with wonderful
views overlooking Picton, or in the privacy of your own apartment. 

Through experience and informal research it has been found the majority of people who stay in small inns, guest houses and B&B’s as well as those who have stayed at Sennen House in particular, enjoy their privacy and independence.

You can Expect:

A delicious continental breakfast is provided daily and includes fruit juice, fruit bowl or seasonal fruit salad, fresh home-made bread, preserves, yoghurt, free range eggs, milk and cereals.

A varied selection of teas and coffee are also provided.

Guests are asked to advise any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Picton is the gateway to the Queen Charlotte Sounds and Marlborough's wine region.

We recommend you spend at least 2 nights at Sennen House to experience some of the wealth of activities and opportunities our picturesque town has to offer, but be warned, you may want to stay much, much longer…..
