Artist Biography:
Loretta is an award winning watercolor artist. She lives in Naples, Florida and is a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, The Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society and The Southwest Florida Watercolor Society. Her work has been exhibited in the River North Art District of downtown Chicago, IL, Poe M. Art House in Downers Grove, IL,The Michael J. Fox Foundation Art Exhibit in Naperville, IL, BB Interiors in Geneva, IL, Affordable Antiques in Naperville, IL and at Art2Amaze in Naples, FL. Her work was also featured as part of the set design in the full-length motion picture “Spades”.
Currently Loretta’s artwork is exhibited at Gannon’s Antiques and Art Center, located at 16521 S. Tamiami Trail, Ft. Myers, FL. Loretta’s most recent watercolor paintings are inspired by the 1920’s Ziegfeld girl photographic portraits that were taken by various professionals of that generation.

Artist Statement:
I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to draw. So I grew up with dreams of attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In the end, however, my practical side won out and I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Roosevelt University in Chicago and went to work in the corporate world. I didn’t give up the dream however, and eventually attended a few art classes and workshops most recently studying with private art instructors who are expert watercolor artists themselves. I have also tried a few other mediums but in the end, watercolor is my passion and I am happiest when I can just apply brilliant color and tone to the watercolor paper.
