If you are an antique lover, you are close to several nearby towns offering plentiful antique shops and 'picker's' paradise thrift shops and flea markets.
New England's largest outdoor flea market, The Elephant Trunk is a 15 minute drive and open in the summer. Epic Summertime County fairs, farmer's markets, farm stands and farm to table dining make country living or visiting ideal. Hiking, biking and all manner of water sports are available for you to choose. Nearby Marinas rent powerboats, etc. The owners provide optional rental Kayaks, a Sunfish sailboat and a 4 person pedal-boat to make your way across the lake to the town beach to meet the ice cream truck, have your kids play at the playground or to listen to music performed at the town's pavilion. The house has a large private dock for afternoon drinks, dining, fishing, swimming, with plenty of space to dock watercraft. There is a firepit by the water to relax and enjoy a book and drinks in the evening. Homebody guests can enjoy books, DVDs and boardgames for all ages. Winter provides other fun outdoor activities. Skiing is nearby.

The 1000 sf home offers a large living, kitchen and dining area. The unique, handmade walnut dining table seats 6 comfortably. The kitchen island has three counter height chairs for additional dining space and for hanging out chatting with the chef (if you love cooking!) It's ideal for parents to feed hungry children after a full day of swimming, skiing or exploring the region. The kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining. The Master bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, TV and views of the lake. The gracefully appointed Guest room has a full size bed. The children's room also boasts a view of the lake and sleeps 3 (a bunk bed and trundle for 3rd child or friend). A modern touch inspired the newly renovated bathroom with a deep tub/shower combination. Ample linens and towels provided. (Beach towels too!) In the hall, a cubby was designed for you to keep your shoes and hang your coats. The unfinished basement offers a bonus full bathroom with a shower for those times you need the extra space. Dogs are considered on a case by case basis, with an additional fee. The home is professionally cleaned between visitors and housecleaning is available for longer visitors. We limit the overnight guests to 6 individuals.
