The Inn at Huntingfield Creek on the Maryland Eastern Shore in the quaint village of Rock Hall offers you 70 acres of Zen attitude, warm Chesapeake hospitality, plenty of activities or perhaps the opportunity to turn everything off, reconnect with someone you love and/or do nothing at all. Walk, sail, ride, fish, shop, eat, drink and be merry all in our friendly village.
The Inn At Huntingfield Creek also has 1100 Square Feet Of  Gorgeous Waterfront and is Pet Friendly!

With five handsomely appointed guest rooms in the gracious Manor House and seven fully-furnished, private cottages, guests of the Inn at Huntingfield Creek have a variety of accommodations from which to choose. The concept of casual elegance is embodied throughout all the property lending to its welcoming and relaxed vibe.

The Zen Cottage

​Price: $285-340 per night, double occupancy

Designed exclusively for guest comfort; calm and serenity abound in the Zen Cottage, featuring natural bamboo floors and a quarried stone spa bath. The color scheme is definitely ‘Zen chill’ in peridot green, brown and cream.


The expansive bedroom, complete with Tempur-Pedic topped king size bed, desk and adjacent oversized whirlpool tub, is separated from the living room and furnished bistro kitchen area by a two-sided gas fireplace and set of double French doors.

Dining table for two is perfect for a cocktail or casual meal. Living room has a double sleeper sofa and flat- screen satellite HDTV/DVD. Glass sliding door and windows galore provide sweeping pastoral views and lead to the raised deck patio and barbecue grill, positioned for perfect sunset viewing.

A short walk on the grassy promenade between crop fields, through the small woods and down a marsh path brings guests to the scenic waterfront dock. Appx. 725 sq. feet. The Zen Cottage can accommodate an extra adult guest or two small children.

Woods Cottage features
warm, rich tones complimented by lush color accents and woodland themed accessories. Birding and nature enthusiasts will feel right at home! However, this cottage is quite the opposite of roughing-it… Upscale Tempur-Pedic king bedroom, fine linens, bedding and monogrammed spa robes along with a custom welcome treat will make guests feel pampered along with the large, luxury bath featuring soaking tub, rain-shower, separate toilet room and second vanity area for overflow guests.

Living area is furnished with hickory wood floors, modern fireplace, comfortable queen-sized Tempur-Pedic sofa bed, flat-screen HDTV, DVD player, well-equipped bistro kitchen with dining table for up to four.

Enjoy spectacular field and woods views, sunset vistas, a peek at the waterfront off the generous deck, private yard & BBQ. Woods Cottage is close to our saltwater pool and is located at one end of our new three unit ‘cottage village’. This cottage rental can accommodate extra guests, at about 800 square feet.

Lavender Cottage

Located adjacent to, and with spectacular views of our lavender field as well as woods and farm fields, lovers of Provence will appreciate this special cottage. Beautiful to behold, the subtle lavenders, freshening greens and soft neutrals lend a calming effect to the upscale appointments.


The luxury Tempur-Pedic king bedroom offers fine linens and monogrammed spa robes. Glass-paned French doors lead into the deluxe bathroom with soaking tub, rain-shower and a roomy vanity. The separate toilet area and second vanity provide convenience for extra guests.

Beach-tone wood floors flow into the living room with an impressive modern fireplace, HDTV, DVD, comfy queen Tempur-Pedic sleeper sofa and well-equipped bistro kitchen with dining table. Wake up and smell the flowers (most of the season) and enjoy the BBQ off your large private deck. Beautiful field and sunset vistas. Serenely located at the end of the new ‘cottage village’, near the saltwater pool.

Farm Cottage

Farm Cottage is charmingly naïf yet upscale, with a mildly-Americana motif. Warm primary colors are set against a kraft-paper wall color scheme for relaxing eye appeal. It features wide plank wood floors, a large open-floor plan which makes it ideal
for couples with or without young families.


The luxury king bed and luxury queen Tempur-Pedic sleeper sofa, fine linens and robes offer the finest in sleeping comfort along with the luxury tiled bath w/ soaker tub, rain-shower and roomy vanity. Designer fireplace, HDTV and DVD player and well-equipped bistro kitchen with dining table are intended to meet your every need. You’ll get a big dose of country from the large back deck with BBQ overlooking fields and woods. Can also be used for small corporate break-out meetings and group lunches.

​Farm Cottage sits amid the new ‘cottage village’, adjacent to the saltwater pool area. Farm is also pet-friendly as are Garden and Island Cottages. Nightly fee of $25 per pet. Approximately 625 square feet.

The Chester Chase

Price: $200-230 per night, double occupancy

The Chester River plays a big part of Kent County history, hence the name of this room. Creamy tones and dramatic plush bedding compliment the lovely antique furnishings, charming artwork and exposed wood beam ceiling in the spacious Chester Chase Room. With both east and west-facing windows, this room affords guests magnificent sunrise and sunset views overlooking the front and back lawns.

​The room is complete with a heavenly king size bed with fine linens and elegant bedding. Two comfy reading chairs and fine accents grace this well-sized room of approximately 425 square feet. The Chester Chase also offers the largest bathroom in the House with a tub and shower combination. The crisp red and white toile wallpaper compliments the black and white tile floor. Of course, cozy spa robes, mini-fridge and a ‘welcome’ treat are just part of the hospitality! This room can accommodate an extra bed. Located on the second floor up a broad staircase.

The Huntingfield

With its herbal green-colored walls, rich wood furnishings and hunt-print fabrics, the striking Huntingfield Room honors part of the Inn’s history as a hunting lodge. Original European hunt-themed art graces the wall of this comfortable room of approximately 400 square feet. Dramatic skylights and a vaulted ceiling are highlights of the room, which includes a luxury Tempur-Pedic topped king size bed and fine linens.

The dramatic bathroom with shower features gorgeous floral-on-black wallpaper. Large enough to comfortably accommodate an extra twin roll-away bed, the Huntingfield also boasts a charming window seat overlooking the front lawns. Two refinished antique rocking chairs that grace an exotic oriental rug are the perfect place for reading. Equipped with a mini-fridge for guest convenience, Huntingfield, like all the Inn rooms, also sports Inn-monogrammed spa robes, a mini-fridge and a ‘welcome’ treat. Located on the second floor up a broad staircase.

The five charming, upscale rooms with individual color theming await guests who select a stay in the House at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek. The beds offer the ultimate in comfort with lightweight Swiss-style down duvets and bedding. To preserve a sense of privacy and quietude for your romantic getaway, a HDTV is conveniently located in the living room for guest enjoyment.
All rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests are $30 per night.

The Trumpington

Located in a secluded end section of the Manor House is the romantic and dramatic Trumpington Room.

The Trumpington Estate is really a part of the Inn at Huntingfield Creek’s history and so homage is made through this room as its namesake.


Upscale, country elegance describes this corner end room that offers panoramic views of the pond and Pergola Garden, meadows and front lawns. The room is richly decorated with navy colored walls, antique and cherry furnishings and original artwork. Two comfortable reading chairs and an heirloom writing desk offer comfort and practicality. The original hardwood floor is graced by a precious Persian carpet.

A cozy window seat, king-size Tempur-Pedic-topped bed, fine linens and luxury bedding complete the room, which is spacious enough to accommodate an extra bed (approximately 425 square feet). Mini-fridge, I@H/C Spa robes and ‘welcome’ treat are all part of our Chesapeake hospitality. On the second floor up a broad staircase.
