Laura Tietjens paints people. Not as they appear, but as they are—layered, complex, and unfinished. Her paintings are stories told without words, built up from newspaper clippings, acrylics, spray paint, oil, markers—whatever the story demands.
Laura Tietjens is a Dutch-born artist whose work spans continents, cultures, and emotional depths. She paints people, but more than that—she paints layers of experience, memory, and meaning. Her process is raw, intuitive, and honest. Her paintings aren’t polished products. They’re conversations. You feel them before you analyze them.
Since graduating from art school in the Netherlands in 1986, Tietjens has been immersed in creative work. She’s exhibited widely, been published in five catalogues, and sold hundreds of paintings across the globe. Her career took a sharp turn in 2014 when she moved to Barcelona. With no safety net, she painted to survive. Tourists became clients. Galleries followed. Commissions grew. Her paintings found homes in every corner of the world—from Iceland to the Philippines, from China to South Africa.

The work of Jozef Vilhard is inspired by the beauty of the horse and the history of the origins of humanity, which he transforms into art.
Jozef Vilhard is an artist who has placed himself at the center of the contemporary art world through his unique approach to portraying horses.
His sculptures and paintings celebrate not only the physical beauty of these noble animals but also capture their inner essence — elegance, strength, wisdom, and the gentle rhythm of their movement.
Each of his works represents a deep understanding of the anatomy and dynamics of the horse, combining technical perfection with emotional depth. In his drawings and paintings, Vilhard goes beneath the surface—his depictions of horses evoke a sense of playfulness and freedom, while his sculptures capture a moment frozen in time, allowing every tense tendon and graceful movement to be perceived.
His works are not only an aesthetic tribute to horses as symbols of power, beauty, and wisdom but also a manifestation of profound respect for their spirit. Vilhard’s horse sculptures are often characterized by delicate lines that contrast with the robustness of the materials they are made from. This interplay between weight and lightness, strength and delicacy, makes his sculptures timeless and visually captivating.

Lynsey Storer (b.1977) is an English painter based in London. She is originally from a rural area of central UK, within the Midlands. Her father was a Gamekeeper tending to the woodland and rearing game birds.
Lynsey’s interest and inspiration began at a young age walking the fields and from the age of 14 sitting in Clumber Park and the surrounding Sherwood Forest. Progressing to a lifetime of en plein air painting; she likes to experience, live, and be in the moment. ‘The movement and rhythms of nature or the color and textures of the landscape play an important role in her desire to record’. She says that ‘we rarely look at photos we have taken but paintings have a timeless quality. A photo captures a moment but a painting lasts for eternity.
The paintings here were created outdoors in two countries, England and France. Recording her observations of France, Lynsey enjoys the quaint, undisturbed roads and cottages of the north. She hopes that her paintings become a point of meditation or beauty; a window to appreciate the world around us.
