​Welcome to Fox Glacier Lodge

​Experience our warm hospitality and the mountain views towards the glacier valley. Enjoy our tranquil private setting surrounded by temperate rainforest edging the Westland Tai Poutini National Park.

Our convenient location means we are a short stroll to all cafés,
Fox Guiding, scenic helicopter flight offices, shops and the popular glow worm forest walk.
Our Lodge comprises of four B&B style rooms with a breakfast room,
one stand alone chalet, and six self contained units. The choice is yours.

We also have 25 powered campervan sites with the most amazing hot showers, kitchen, sheltered BBQ area, coin operated laundry and dump station. You can book a campervan site here.

Accommodations

Choose your accommodation

  *Please note: If we do not have space available for the night(s) you require, we recommend The Westhaven or Sunset Motels for your stay in Fox Glacier.

One bedroom units We have three delightful one bedroom self contained units each with two single beds in the separate bedroom, a queen bed in the living space, kitchenette and an ensuite bathroom.

​ The kitchenette has a microwave, electric frypan, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities. All have a flat screen TV and sliding doors opening onto a deck with views towards the Glacier Valley. Port-a-cot available.
​Maximum occupancy four.

​Check in from 2pm to 7pm. 

Lodge B&B

Our B&B lodge contains four ensuite rooms each with a queen bed.

Choose from an elevated room or ground floor room, one of which is wheelchair friendly and the other has an extra bed, so works well as a twin. Each room has a flat screen TV. A continental selection breakfast awaits in the ground floor breakfast room in the morning.

Breakfast consists of freshly baked bread and or muffins, home made spreads, cereals, yogurt, fruit juice, fresh fruit, eggs, filter coffee, teas and hot chocolate. A gas log fire in the breakfast room to keep you warm in the winter.

Check in from 2pm to 7pm.

Mezzanine Units

We have three cosy self contained mezzanine units, each has a leather couch, flat screen TV, gas log fire place, dining table and chairs, kitchenette with microwave, small oven, hot plates, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities and bathroom with separate shower, double spa bath and toilet, all on the lower level.

Up on the mezzanine level the sleeping area.
Two units have a queen and single and one unit has a queen only.
Port-a-cot available.
