Early Morning.
With each painting, my overarching goal is to capture the gorgeous nuances of color and light present in my subjects while conveying a particular mood, a particular moment or even a particular message. I emphasize what most intrigued me, all the while working to maintain a fresh, luminous quality, melding classic painting qualities with modern sensibilities and approach. Then the viewer is able to experience the emotion behind the work, and ultimately discover what drew me to the subject in the first place.
