Nestled in the beautiful Hill Country of central Texas sits the little-hidden gem of Crystal River Inn. After 33 years in business, our hotel in San Marcos, TX, has become a prominent part of the community as visitors come to us for a gorgeous
wedding, a weekend of relaxation, or a tantalizing fun getaway.
 
Whether you are planning a one-night stay, a weekend getaway, or a week's retreat, you will be pampered by our accommodating staff while you relax in one of our 12 unique guest rooms. All are in one of three historic buildings surrounding our wedding garden: 1883 Victorian, a huge 2-story 1920's Mission style, and a 1930's rock bungalow. Each room is beautifully decorated in various themes.

Rooms

The Colorado

​Main House......If you're looking for Texas Hill Country flavor, this room is perfect.

Quiet and private, it features designer ranch decor highlighted with a canopied queen rope bed, antiques, leather hides, and western artwork. TV, private bath with shower/tub combination, and high speed wireless.

The Medina

Main House.......Romantic Victorian decor in shades of rose and sage green.

Our original honeymoon suite and still our most popular room, it features a wood-burning fireplace and elevated four-poster king bed. Television/VCR, highspeed wireless, private bath with shower/tub combination.

The Rio Grande

Rock House.......Especially popular with long-term guests, this suite features a private entrance with covered porch and a mini-kitchen with refrigerator. Decor is pure South Texas with hand-carved Mexican furniture, king-sized bed, TV, phone, and wireless internet. Full private bath has
​shower only, no tub.

The Nueces

Rock House.......An assortment of creamy fabrics sets off the dark varnished furnishings and Victorian feel of this intimate white-on-white room. Its elevated 4-poster queen bed is, many believe, among the inn's prettiest. TV, wifi, private
​ bath with shower/tub combination.

The San Marcos Suite

Rock House......With its oversized marble garden tub, this is probably our most-requested room. The bath also features a skylight and pedestal sink with gold-plated fixtures. Other features include canopied king bed, antiques, sitting room with twin daybeds, a double-sided fireplace with candle inserts, TV/DVD, phone, and wifi.

The Comal/Concho Suite

Rock House.......Antique-accented English country garden decor and comfortable reading areas highlight this cozy 2-bedroom suite. One bedroom has a queen canopied bed, the other a canopied double, both in floral green and pink tones. Television, wifi, and private bath with shower/tub combination.
