Carla Benjamin is a nature-based contemporary, traditional fine artist working in encaustic and photography in Minnesota. Inspired by the changing seasons and the cycles of the natural world, Benjamin has expressed that inspiration in several media and forms over the years including stained glass, acrylic paint, monoprint, and sculpture. Benjamin creates art that inspires, calms, and renews the viewer in tumultuous times and at life-altering moments.

I am pleased to announce that I am a recipient of 2022 Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Support for Individuals Grant.
The grant support allows me to continue to hone my encaustic artistry and to continue to receive mentoring with a goal of securing outlets for the sale of my work to healthcare venues and other public spaces. Thank you MSAB and the citizens of Minnesota!
