“BROOKLYN DESIGNS was such a huge success, this year, highlighted by our change of venue at the Brooklyn Museum that it seems only fitting to continue the momentum of the show by taking our wonderful design community to ICFF,” said Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Acting President Rick Russo. “We are excited and honored to be part of this special exhibition and once again celebrate the creative economy by taking part in NYCxDESIGN.”

Pavilion will include Think Fabricate, sister brand to architecture firm Doban Architecture, who will furnish the space with their Dialogue Table and Benches crafted from maple hardwood and brass inlays.
The table will be styled with wood-fired ceramics inspired by the intersection of modernism and wabi-sabi by Ming’s Monsters. Exploring a new medium, multidisciplinary artist and design studio Fort Makers will illuminate the space with a new glass chandelier.
The vignette will also feature a new collection by Bolé Road Textiles called Omo Valley that is inspired by Southern Ethiopia’s patterns and colors. The collection includes new sizes for pillows, euro shams, long lumbars, rugs and throws. Bright, bold colors will be present in AMENT’s bags and pouches as well, which take inspiration from the saturated and primary hues of the 60’s as well as current Japanese influences.

A number of designers will introduce fresh spins to their brands in the BROOKLYN DESIGNS pavilion. TOKEN, who is launching a spring collection in conjunction with their 10th anniversary, will exhibit three pieces including the Taos Armoire, Warren Lounge and ottoman. Drawing from Founder and Creative Director Will Kavesh’s fine arts background, the furnishings juxtapose materials in unconventional ways while combining meticulous detailing sculptural forms.
In addition, Argosy Designs will expand beyond their fabrication expertise with the launch of APD – Argosy Product Division, applying the same unparalleled craftsmanship of its architectural metalwork to the design and manufacturing of handcrafted lighting, accessories and furniture pieces. Lastly, Ot/tra will display their Asymmetric bench, which gracefully balances a shorter-length bench with undulating curves. The brand was established in 2016 by husband-and-wife team Adam and Sofia Zimmerman as a natural extension of their architecture firm, Zimmerman Workshop.
