Aya Ogasawara
Aya Ogasawara
Born in Tokyo, Japan.
Since I began my career and found my passion for painting, I have tried to communicate the sublime. The embodiment of my subconscious is shown by the image of a young girl, frequently appearing in many of my works. At times, I depict the surreal through various images and motifs such as interactions between spectral figures of women or animals frolicking in mystical forests. In the scenes depicted, I try to convey a sense of internal struggle, which in turn attempts to illustrate the inner confusion of an artist’s mind.
