We use only natural environmentally safe cleaning products – whether it is for laundry purposes
or keeping our home clean and fresh.

Our guests are invited to relax on the deck, surrounded by trees in very quiet surroundings in rural Ottawa.

Connemara is a great place to stay, if one is looking for quiet, solitude, but want to experience down to earth old fashioned Irish hospitality.

A lot of our guests like to enjoy breakfast in the kitchen, or on the deck, but for those who like to have  breakfast in a more quiet surrounding  – our dining room is open to all.

Our varied breakfast menu will spoil you, as we use locally purchased food made with only the freshest natural ingredients – no additives or chemicals.

Play a round or two at any of the five nearby golf courses.  Visit Watson’s Mill, fine restaurants and shops in nearby Manotick or the Canadian artisans and craft shops in historic Merrickville.

We are open year round, so plan to visit during such exciting events as Winterlude, and skate on the world’s longest skating rink; or attend the annual Tulip festival and Blues Fest.

​ In Ireland there is untouched land where St. Patrick would retreat after many arduous hours of preaching. He would then re-emerge refreshed, rejuvenated in mind, body and spirit.

The  Connemara House B&B was built keeping care not to disturb the natural forest that surrounds it. The healing force of trees gives visitors an instant sense of relaxation, Your hosts,  Angus and Peggy.
